We make small batches
of soap each week for our families and yours. The
soap is handcrafted in large kettles on our kitchen stoves. We
combine saponified vegetable oils, goat milk from our farms, and pure
essential oils. The soap cures for several weeks and then it is
hand-milled to create a gentle, but long-lasting bar of soap.
Soapmaking has traditionally been a woman’s
chore on the farm. As with many other crafts, women created soaps
that were both practical and beautiful. Making soap serves
as both a tie to the past and a connection to the world beyond our small
farms.
